Thoughts on these UI Mockups?

This isn’t the full scope of the game’s UI, just the main ingame UI I drew up this morning.
What are your thoughts on it? Would you play a game with UI positioned this way?

When fifth button pressed to open “Menu”. 6th button on this menu will be for managing inventory potentially but it’s unclear how we’ll do the inventory system right now!

This is actually pretty simpole and nice, although if this is the PC screenshot, then it is too big in my opinion. In a third-person game I wouldn’t really mind though the UI being this big could make some people lose immersion or it could get in the way. The mobile UI is fine though in my opinion since it is easily accessible.

I designed this in Clip Studio Paint, it’s not actual UI! I’ll definitely scale it down.

This UI looks great! Excellent job on it! I rate it 9/10! I think the bars (health bar and stuff) should be a bit bigger and the inventory should be a bit smaller.

There is no inventory on this UI, the hotbar on the bottom contains buttons for popups such as editing your character, customizing your overhead character information, joining/managing groups/colonies, playing animations, and opening the Menu (3rd image).
Unfortunately I may need to keep the needs bars as small as they are or completely move them as I realize I need there to be four bars (health, hunger, thirst, stamina) - I need room next to the bars for status effects (ie. poisoning, broken bone, etc.) without it taking up too much of the screen…
So yeah, I plan to mess with the scale of everything for sure!
