MY ISSUE
Okay so essentially I created this thumbnail for my medieval game, and as you can see there’s a bit of blood on the helmet, nothing too extreme I thought. However ROBLOX clearly disagrees.
They said it’s too violent and gory, and I was like alright I’ll appeal. But they immediately denied by appeal. I’m just confused with the whole ROBLOX push towards a more 18+ environment, when an image like this which would even be appropiate for 13+ (in my opinion)
There’s far more violent depictions on the platform which have been accepted, such as guns being held at people and other bloody thumbnails but mine can’t get accepted.
What do you guys think? Is it truly too violent and gory?

I think the blood is actually a little too visible, even though it’s honestly not that shocking. Plus, maybe it’s because of the very realistic textures (I think they’re great) and maybe because the atmosphere is a little too dark. Which, in my opinion, didn’t go over well with Roblox… (unfortunately!) In any case, I absolutely love this thumbnail!

It looks great but you’re probably gonna have to remove the blood if you want them to lower the age rating

no.
the blood is barely visible and is definitely appropriate for ages 13 and up. it looks absolutely awesome, though.
another case of shoddy roblox moderation

Honestly, I feel like there’s way worse thumbnails out there which have gotten accepted

They allow blood in-game, yet you cannot make thumbnails with blood or images with blood

The helmet is a bit red and it does make some sense as to how it is containing blood. Ideally you remove the red from the helmet and make it just grey. The thumbnail does look good! Nice job on it!

Unfortunately, Roblox can be pretty annoying with these things. I loved your thumbnail, it’s really well made. Great job!

To be frank. This is not even close to being violent.
@Jomsvikinger – which is quite weird that it was denied.
Yet something as such is not even taken into account by them . ..
How is something is gruesome as this allowed??
An I know yall excuse would be . .. c-cause its pink!!!
Beyond grotesque, that this even got approved in general!! Your thumbnail looks sick by the way – I would honestly say try again, dont give up your hopes.
Straight up has “[GORE]” in the title full caps too Roblox moderation is sooo consistent
