Time Trial System – Need feedback

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a Time Trial system for my game and wanted to get some honest feedback on how it plays.

Here’s what it does:

  • Starts with a countdown before the timer kicks in
  • You run the trial and get timed from start to finish
  • Based on your time, you earn a medal:
    • Bronze
    • Silver
    • Gold
    • Platinum
    • (Unranked if you’re too slow)

There’s also a leaderboard that shows the top 25 best times. You can click on any player to watch a replay of their run, which helps a lot for seeing better routes or movement.

One of the features is the ability to race your own ghost; basically a dummy that replays your best time so you can try to beat yourself.

Stuff I’d love feedback on:

  • Is ghost racing something you’d actually use?
  • Do the replays feel useful?
  • Any parts that felt confusing or janky?
  • Anything missing you’d expect from a system like this?

Appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, or nitpicks; trying to make it feel rewarding and competitive without being frustrating.

Thanks!

Honestly , I can’t see something wrong here. It looks perfect, also I like the speed effects

thanks man lol, first time I’ve heard “it looks perfect” in the scripting world. I feel like there can be more to it but then again its just a time trial system. Maybe add it to where you can race the top time on the leaderboard but that feels useless.

You’re a good developer. I wonder if you can help me with Feedback on my UI
