Tips on maintaining Players, spreading the word?

Game link: Hijacked - Roblox

I have released this game for awhile now, I have been getting positive reviews by popular story game youtubers, AKA Ponchokings, JamesRBLX and JanetandKate.

We have managed to rise up in favourites and visits, but the main problem is that I cannot maintain a stable concurrent player count. Normally it fluctuates to about 5 players before going down to 1 or 0, maybe sometimes peaking to 13 out of no where. I would like some feedback in which I can use to improve the amount of players in my game! (I am aiming for 50 so that I can apply for the Rthro sort.)

Well, that’s expected for a story game. When everyone completes every ending, the game starts to die. If the game is hard, make sure you make the tasks easier. Add a new ending and don’t forget to ask some content creators to advertise it!

Hmm, there are story games that could maintain 500-800 players daily though…

These games are new, made by famous devs like Ponchokings and SamsonXVI or updated frequently.

Dont stop updating it, alot of games loose popularity because developers stop updating and the games get boring because of the lack of features, even if small, they can help keep your game alive

How often should updates come? Will there be a break through eventually? How do I get bigger youtubers to recongise the game? (Denis, Flamingo) I tried emailing their business emails but it wouldnt work.

im no experienced dev myself but I think you should update it at the very least 1 time every 2 months though 1 time a month is most optimal, you should also try to promote your game via social media or sponsoring it via roblox and if ur lucky or your game is good enough within a couple of month or even sometimes weeks you will reach 1k concurrent players, if its a big update that will take more time than ussual be sure to in any way tell the players.

Thats just what I think.
