I like getting emails from the dev forum in my personal email. It helps me keep up to date without having to go through the many, many pages of posts here. I can easily see everything I need while also checking my email, which I already do.
However, I did not like, that every post would open a new email topic, and therefore a new tab in gmail. After a little bit (and I mean really little) of research, I found out how to automatically filter and archive emails in my imbox. Archiving emails will remove the email from your main imbox, but keep it in the assigned label.
THIS IS FOR GMAIL, NOT FOR ANY OTHER EMAIL SERVICE!
First: Click the search bar. There should be a small arrow pointing down. You should see a menu like this:
When you see that, in the âFrom:â box, type â*@*.roblox.comâ. Then, click on create filter.
this will filter all emails from roblox. if you only wish to filter dev-forum emails, you can use â*@devforum.roblox.comâ.
You will be presented with a list of options. Choose âSkip the inboxâ, âApply the labelâ (choose or create a label), and also âapply filter to matching conversationsâ
Now you can press create filter, and voila, the filter is created. All emails, past and future, will be moved to the label!
