My friend had issues with the chat update and when she fixed it, voice chat was disabled and no option to enable it despite being in 18-20 age group with ID verification. I also tried and had the same issue, the option in the settings is missing.

Hi, thanks for the report. We recently moved the voice chat setting into the experience menu, so users have more control over when they want to use voice chat.
Can you try looking in the in-game menu for the “voice chat” toggle?

I see it, thank you. Maybe it should be in both places since the communications tab in the main settings page is designed for that purpose but it’s also very useful that it’s in the experience settings.
