tomorrowPhone - Handbook

Hi there! Welcome to the tPhone Handbook. Here, you will learn how to get your tPhone up and running, some basics on how to use the tPhone and finally some solutions to problems that you may face.

Setting up the tPhone

Setting up the tPhone is super simple. First, download the tPhone from tHub. Then insert it to your game. To do that, just drag and drop the downloaded file onto studio. A large white box will appear. This is the packaging. In it, you will find the ticket scanners and the boarding system. Let’s ungroup them! First, drag out the ā€œNormal Gateā€ and position it to your likings. This Gate allows all passengers to pass through if they have checked in using their phone. Then put the ā€œLounge Scannerā€ anywhere you like. This is a more restricted gate that you can put infront of a lounge for example. You can set up the Lounge Scanner in the configuration file. Now put the BoardingGate on your gate and position it anywhere you like. All of those ticket scanners can be duplicated. Now position the ā€œScreenā€ brick. You can resize and customise it if you want to. Good job! Now let’s set up the screen so only you and your staff can use it. In Workspace, go to ā€œScreenā€, open the ā€œConfigureā€ folder and edit the values. Now let’s simply drag the tPhone found in the ā€œStarterPackā€ folder into the StarterPack of your game. Then drag the folder called ā€œReplicatedStorageā€ into our Replicated Storage. Now let’s set up the classes. To do that, just open the ReplicatedStorage folder and edit the values found in the ā€œClassConfigsā€ folder. Then drag the folder called ServerScriptService into the ServerScriptService and you should be all set!

In case you have a different class structure than the pre set classes, then please head over to the tPhone in your StarterPack and open the ā€œConfigureā€ file. Class1Name is your first class that is free. Class2Name - Class4Name are the higher classes. More than 4 classes are not supported.

You are all set! Your tPhone should be up and running!

To get back home, simply click the Home Indicator. The home indicator is the black bar at the bottom of the screen.

tMusic
tMusic is a fantastic music app that let’s you play out two most favourite songs and, in case you want to hear something else, your own custom ID! If you wish to play our selected music, just click on the cover. To play a custom song, you’ll have to

  1. Find the song ID
Doing that is very simple. Look up for a song and copy it’s it. You can find the ID here:
    https://www.roblox.com/library/842009513/try-to-find-out-what-that-song-is
  2. Play the song!
Cool! Now let’s copy the ID and paste it into the TextBox! Now you only need to hit play and you are all set!

Enable Dark Mode
Dark Mode is a beautiful appearance in the tPhone. You can activate it by going to the Settings and clicking ā€œDark Modeā€. If you want to get back to the standard look, just click ā€œLight Modeā€.

Using the Camera App
Want to take a super cool picture of your flight? Open the camera app, and enter the FOV. (Field of View). Standard is 70. The higher the number, the more content can fit into the picture. We recommend an FOV value of 10-20. Don’t remember the standard FOV? Don’t worry, just click the Reset button! If you are a pilot and your camera got stuck, the reset button can help too.

tNews
tNews is fantastic if you want to keep up to date with whatā€˜s happening in Ro-Aviation. When you open the tNews app, you will be greeted with two news. At the top, you will see the latest news. And at the bottom, you will see an airline review so you can decide with what airline you might want to fly with next. To read more about the topic, simply click on the image or text.

And thatā€˜s very much it! You have now learned how to set up the tPhone and how to use some of the apps. If you have any questions, feel free to open a new ticket in our communications server.
