Too late to release a christmas update?

So, one of my friends want to release the christmas update for Castle Period and BLO. I’ve told him that it might be too early to release the update as Thanksgiving is soon.

So, is it too early to release the christmas update or am I just being lazy?

It’s certainly not too late to release a Christmas update. December hasn’t started yet.
