Too much Lag in my Showcase

Hello Developers,

I was using Clover Meshes for clovers in my game, but then I decided to make my own clovers since they looked blocky. Keep in mind, the Blocky Clovers were just 1 mesh and surface appearance in them. And when I made my own clovers, It was parts + Decals. The new clovers looks like this:



and grouped together. When I placed them around my map, It began to lag. a TON. These new Clovers are lagging the game a lot. Keep in mind, Im placing the same amount of clovers that I placed with the old ones. The only difference is these clovers are models with parts and stuff, and the old ones were just meshes with surface appearance.

How can I fix this lag…?

And before you ask, no its not the wind. It lags the same with and without the wind

How the parts are, did you have any collision added on them ?

Nope! Collision is completely turned off on all leafy meshes

Try to add the same condition on another ROBLOX place, same settings but without the wind ect, check your micro profiler and see when exactly the lags appear with the news leafy meshes.

Also, do you have the link of your game to test it or he is on BETA and he is private !? :slight_smile:

Try using a box collision unless the collisions on the objects were turned off originally. The other part could be the decal sizes, but it’s nearly unlikely that would be the impact.
