So I’ve encountered a new studio bug that breaks tool animations, specifically those animations that rely on Motor6D instances.
The Bug causes the tool to not get animated which makes it look stiff. Any attempt at try to fix this bug by hand didn’t work since the core function of tool animation has ceased to work.
I’ve also tried migrating old (working) code for reclassing the tool weld to a motor6d, which was to no avail.
Here are the evidence materials from the Rigs in Playtest and Editor:
Woah there, you made it seem like it’s Roblox’s fault without valid proof.
Are you sure your animations worked normally in the past days without changes to the code? Maybe test an earlier version, maybe in another place file.
Yes, I just opened an older version from couple of weeks before, which I am sure was in a stable state and had working tool animations, it has the same issue as the current version.
Roblox is indeed at fault here.
(No animation files were damaged and look perfectly fine as they should in the animation editor)
–EDIT–
I also played the game in Roblox and noticed it bugs out there too, take in consideration the fact that I didn’t update the game in roughly a month.
