Tool Position and Animations Help!

What do you want to achieve?
I want to position a tool like this:

What is the issue?
It won’t register the animation and I don’t know how to position the chair like that

What solutions have you tried so far?
This is the script for the tool (local script)

-- Player and Character --
local plr = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local char = plr.Character or plr.CharacterAdded:Wait()

-- Chair Objects --
local chairTool = script.Parent

-- Animations --
local holdingAnim = char:WaitForChild("Humanoid"):LoadAnimation(script.Animations.HoldingAnim)

-- Equipped --
chairTool.Equipped:Connect(function()
	holdingAnim:Play()
end)

-- UnEquipped --
chairTool.Unequipped:Connect(function()
	holdingAnim:Stop()
end)

Also the animation is on idle and its repeating

I have removed all the toolnones in the animate script (followed this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPHa4poXS7I)

Thank You if you can find a answer (Is it even possible?)

I think you mixed Humanoid with Animator. It should be parented under a Player’s humanoid

I don’t really get what your saying (sorry I’m new to scripting)

Every Player’s character has an object called an Animator, which allows developers to load and play their custom animations on. The Animator would usually be parented under the Humanoid object of the Player.

This method you are trying to call on the Humanoid object of the Player is not a valid method of Humanoid. Instead, you should search for the Humanoid’s Animator and call :LoadAnimation() on the Animator object.

Basically:

local humanoid = char:FindFirstChild("Humanoid")
local animator = humanoid:FindFirstChild("Animator")

local holdingAnim = animator:LoadAnimation(script.Animations.HoldingAnim)

Very helpful thank you! Now all I need to do is make the chair positioned like that

Set chair cframe to arm cframe * cframe offset * angles offset

Show me an example please (i dont know what your saying)

I took like a looong break from coding and came back recently but i think it should be something like this? I dont remember exact way

Chair. CFrame = Arm.CFrame * CFrame.new(0, 0,-.5) * Cframe.Angles(0, 0, math.rad(45))
