Tornado VFX doesn't look quite right

I’m tryna make a conical tornado/vortex shape with particles and/or beams that swirls toward a point as shown


It looks great from the top and even at an angle

But the player will mainly be seeing it from the side, which looks horrendous

Any help would be appreciated, thx in advance =)

I think it would really benefit from some smoke or cloud particles toward the center to help fill out the core of the tornado.

u can try adding a smoke to mask those harsh horizontal lines when looking from the side


This looks way better for the style I was going for with the original design, however I have decided to go with a more… stylistic look for it. If you want to see the new one you will have to wait because it’s not fully realized yet.
