In the animation editor the idle animation I made works perfectly fine with the torso moving up and down, but in-game, the torso doesn’t move and this makes the rest of the animation (like the head) look weird. I have messed around with animation priorities but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what’s wrong? Thanks.

I must ask, what the the PrimaryPart of the character? I know at a point roblox started setting it to the head, which in turn started messing with animations that involved the torso.
So make sure the PrimaryPart of the character, or any character that plays the animation, is the HumanoidRootPart.
Hope this works, if not any more details you can provide would be great!
In the character model, the primary part does say, “Head”. So I just switched it to the HRP but there isn’t any change, still only the arms and legs move. In the editor I didn’t even move the legs at all.
And you change the PrimaryPart to the HRP for the players character as well?
I think you want to change the AnimationPriority to Action3 since there could be other animations (including Roblox’s) that are overriding it.
I figured out the issue, it was just Roblox’s animator being annoying. I reanimated the idle anim and it works now.
