Transforming my 3D UI into an aesthetically pleasing part of the character customization

I am making an intial cutscene for my FMP project, an MMO with story and multiplayer elements.
Below is the cutscene:

Notes: Voice recording, floating player animation etc. to come.

What are you attempting to achieve?

An aesthetically pleasing low poly intro to set up the game.

What is the issue?

making the following 3D GUI elements fit into the scene, looking medieval and overgrown while still being accessable for customization.

What solutions have you tried so far?

I have tried adding textures and different shapes + playing games like tomb raider for inspiraiton.
What I really need is reference photos and specific advice and suggestions.

I appreciate any advice or reference suggestions people have/find.

Given how nobody else has replied to this, I’ll give it a shot. So what I think is that the one on the left is fine in terms of size and shape, but for the one on the right, unless you’re going to add any more text, I think you could make it smaller. What I think could make it better is if you added a the same glowing color on the border in place of that grey border, or separately a little more inside of it.

Thats kinda an example of adding the glowing texture around the edges, it makes it pop and draws attention to it.

Thank you, I took note of your suggestions and altered it:

You’res still doesn’t adress making it look magical while old, fitting in with the mystical surroundings.
So I had a go on my own after doing a sketch or two and this is what i’ve done.

I’d love your feedback and would appreciate any advice on making this more old and mystical to fit in with “whence it came”.
