Transparent Modesty allows for Inappropriate Content

I wanted to bring attention to an issue I recently encountered with the Mini Plushy Bundle that may warrant moderation or developer review.

While testing this bundle with various avatar configurations, I noticed that the modesty layer—typically a solid black box that prevents inappropriate avatar exposure—appears to be transparent or improperly implemented. As a result, when the bundle is applied to certain avatars that lack clothing layers, body parts that are normally concealed become visible.

This seems to directly conflict with Roblox’s standards for avatar modesty and safety, especially given how much emphasis is placed on ensuring avatars remain appropriate across all use cases. A transparent modesty layer undermines this entirely and could lead to unintentionally inappropriate appearances on the platform, especially among younger users.

Would appreciate confirmation from staff or insight from others who may have noticed the same thing with other items.

Thank you for the report. This is an acknowledgement message. We have assigned to our team for further review.

The original post this was from was deleted by its author, but staff has already responded to the issue of translucent Modesty layers, confirming that they are by design and not subject to moderation.
Most bundles using this method have Classic Clothing support or do not resemble realistic humanoids, which is likely a factor in this conclusion.
