Transparent parts zfighting

Parts with transparency at 0 work perfectly without zfighting if they are stacked on top of each other. But the moment they are semi transparent (.1 or something) They start zfighting even if they are at different Y positions (depending on camera angle) how do I fix this so they just.. don’t zfight?



the one that looks good is a -90 lockedd camera angle so they don’t zfight, the other is regulaar camera at an angle for when they do.

For your use-case, it is better (for performance too) to use darker colored parts instead of transparency

as amazing a suggestion as this is, for other uses I need the transparency to change. If it was solely about the bug this would fix it, but the transparency is a requirement unfortunately

But he’s right, transparency is the same as lerping the color from colors on lower layers. Is there a specific reason why you need transparency?

yes but that is unrelated. This post is about if it is possible to fix zfighting with transparent parts
