Tree view ui layout could be its own layout- or it could be an extended feature of ui list layout. Essentially they work like nested list layouts. It could come with customizable lines like seen in the image above.
Its currently a bit tedious to make this without code, and impossible to make with the current ui layouts. This would be a very common ui layout used in plugin guis.
