Tried making my first 3D models in Blender, feedback?

Hey!

I am trying to get into the realm of 3D modeling, so I have been studying some tutorials and tried making a (failed) “realistic” donut (71k tris) and low poly tree (3k tris) as my first models!

Feedback would be great!

Amazing low-poly 3d modeling. You’re off to a great start, especially since you’re a beginner! Good luck to you in the future.

Hey, that donut is not a fail! It looks super amazing and that low poly tree is veryy nice and could go well in alot of games, you have a bright future as a modeler!

They look amazing! I can’t believe this is your first time! I feel that you can make the parts of the doughnut less blocky and add more of a watery texture!

Thank you so much! I spent way too much time on the donut… haha

I like the low poly tree. Very nice. The donut is missing color variation and icing towards the middle. It looks pretty odd, like the hole is way too big.

Yeah, kinda gave up on the donut… I now understand why so many people do low poly now, lol
