Here’s an issue when using roblox’s search api to retrieve audio doesnt work as it use to and outright doesnt work when using the items method.
When originally trying to retrieve audio from this url https://search.roblox.com/catalog/json?Category=9&Pagenumber=1 it returns no audios in the json table. But when addiing “CatalogContext=2” it does return what it is supposed to return. https://search.roblox.com/catalog/json?CatalogContext=2&Category=9&Pagenumber=1.
Here’s the thing! After finding out the second methods returns data, I automatically assumed that doing the same with the search.roblox.com/catalog/items api to retrieve total results and other info, it returns no audios https://search.roblox.com/catalog/items?CatalogContext=2&Category=9&Pagenumber=1 as so does not adding CatalogContext=2, https://search.roblox.com/catalog/items?Category=9&Pagenumber=1 adding the PageHash also seemed to not work https://search.roblox.com/catalog/items?CatalogContext=2&Category=9&Pagenumber=1&PageHash=bd3fde938a0583c14f89373c02a1be7b.
The reason for using the items variant is for retrieving total results, without the items varient its hard to find how many pages there are.
