Trying to upload a model, it says I have to remove something that seemingly doesn't exist.

I am trying to upload a model; the page says I have an unsupported asset. Now, I have an inkling of what it is, but the issue is the ID it gives; it just goes to a 404 page, meaning I cant even see what it is exactly in order to rememdy the issue. I own the asssets, just they are through another group than the one I am uploading the model through.

Expected behavior

Ideally, given I own the assets, just have them uploaded through another group. It should recognize that and allow me to use them. On top of that, if an asset errors out like that because its either removed or doesnt exist, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Hey @Sterling_ODeaghaidh, thank you for bringing the 404 page for TexturePacks to our attention. This has been resolved.

Regarding distribution, currently, you cannot distribute on Store an asset that contains Restricted assets created by someone else. For group-owned assets, this means that if you create an asset under Group A you cannot distribute that asset (or its Restricted dependencies) under Group B. We are looking into ways to reduce the friction here, and welcome the creation of any feature requests in this area.

Thanks!

oNe way I can say you can achieve that latter issue is by looking at who uploaded the object. You already have that saved and marked. Easiest way I can see this working is if you compare an object’s uploader to the person uploading the new asset.

If an asset has the same uploader, then it is allowed through, if not , its flagged as unsupported.
