Two Developer Forum categories renamed

Hey developers,

Two Developer Forum categories have been renamed to make their intended purpose clearer:

  • Documentation Requests → “Developer Hub” (#platform-feedback:developer-hub)
    • Reason for change:
      • The Developer Hub is the only documentation resource that we are accepting feature requests and bug reports for right now. So, to make it super clear what the category is about, we make the title more specifically about the Developer Hub. (The Developer Hub is https://developer.roblox.com/, i.e. what used to be called the “wiki”)

  • Learning Resources → “Development Resources” (#development-resources)
    • Reasons for change:
      • The Learning Resources category was initially intended for Roblox to publish education-related resources, but at a later point we added the Community Resources/Tutorials subcategories and so it turned more into a collection of resources from the development community, rather than from Roblox. “Development Resources” therefore makes more sense.
      • The new category title is in line with the naming scheme of “Development Discussion”, “Development Support”.

We are making this announcement to make sure you are informed and to reduce the confusion for people that are looking for the old names in the category list.

Amazing! Make everything much better and easy to look after!

I feel like Learning Resources is still a fairly appropriate category name to use somewhere, but I suppose if we’re following a name convention then it fits well with Development Support. Easy on the eyes and nice for navigation but ultimately nothing significant.

Looks excellent! I especially like the new name of “Development Resources”, as it’s much clearer now.

This is a great idea. These new names make much more sense than the old ones.

I think Learning Resources name was more clear than the current one as @colbert2677 stated. :confused:. In addition Developer Hub name is better current because of the truth that it has lots of problems as I know.

I like this new update. It will make the categories much easier to understand, which is great for new members!

I really appreciate the change. It’s quite a good feeling knowing that there’s always something new in the corner!
