UGC Hat size bugging

Hey guys! :hammer:

So, I was trying to make my hat and “Avatar item” and when I used the “Asset Creator” plugin it made the size way bigger than it should be on the last step.

Here is a before and after:

BEFORE (You can see that i’m about to click to the next step)

AFTER (It is now way bigger than it should be AFTER I click the last step)

Was your UGC the correct size before importing it into Roblox? You can use a simple humanoid model in blender to scale it correctly before exporting it.

In blender I used the rig to size it but when I imported it, it was big so I rescaled it

Rescale it in studio, export it, import it into studio.

If you are exporting it as a FBX lower its scale Like provided in the image and it should be accurate. also if you rescale a Roblox accessory it will just return to the size you exported it as which is why it has to be the correct size from when it gets imported into Roblox to actually having it as a accessory.

Its probably more ideal to teach them how to have the accessory at the right scale in the first place.
