An item in my UGC store for Jian Pets do not show up in listings in the marketplace, group store or search results.
Expected behavior
I would expect it to show up in my group store and in recently published in proper chronological order.
It does show up. In the link you sent for the store, the group name was written as Jian+Pets , but itâs actually Jian Pets . So you can see it from here:
Wait, I just realized it automatically replaces the space with a + in the link. Thatâs definitely a bug

Curious how did you get this link? (The problematic link that you posted above, where the search term is âJian+Petsâ)
If you click on the âSee allâ button from your group store page, it does bring you to the correct view on marketplace showing all your creations.

When I upload a bunch of items at once, some will work correctly, appearing in the Marketplace and Group Store, however, others donât appear in the Marketplace or Group Store unless I enable âShow Unavailable Itemsâ â despite the items being on sale. The items that donât appear properly in the Marketplace also seem to get less sales/visibility (favorites), etc. This is something the OP noted and I have seen with my own items as well.

This occurs to a bunch of my items, some others including:

The weird part of this is, sometimes the items properly appear eventually after a certain amount of time. For example, this item, uploaded Dec. 20th, used to be âinvisibleâ in the catalog, but reappeared later on, yet this item, uploaded Dec. 23rd, is still âinvisible.â
Why does this happen? And what is the affect on the algorithm and the itemâs visibility if itâs not properly appearing upon release? From my perspective, this seems to negatively impact affected items.

i has the same issue where two of the item i posted out of a buch havenât show up in search nor in the group, only when i seach and enable âShow Unavailable Itemsâ do i find the ugc
also i am unsure if this a bug or not but some of the hat ugc i uploaded, the price are different by 10? some of them are 100-90, my friend said it due to i turn on regional pricing but if then wouldnât that mean all the item stay the same price? not different by 10?

Do some of your items use PBR textures? UGC accessories that use PBR textures are automatically priced 10 robux higher than the price floor for that type of item.
There is also a bug with some PBR UGC accessories where sometimes itâll classify it as using âbasicâ textures and thus put it at the normal accessory price, even though it uses PBR textures.
Have you tried putting the item offsale for a minute or two, then putting it onsale again? This happens to me sometimes, and doing this sometimes fixes it.

i believes is another bug since only the pun cap and uniform has pbr, the rest do not, you can see that with the white color hat vs the other color, all of the pun cap has pbr yet the white one is cheaper than the rest, same with the other head ugc, all of them only use color map yet some are still up by 10

As for this other item you reported, I looked into it and sure enough our systems think that your item is offsale. I have gone ahead and refreshed the data for your item so it should now appear in your group store, but i believe it should be some kind of race condition during publishing, or there was a site outage on the services related to publishing when you actually hit the publish button. You mentioned that this usually happens when you try to upload a bunch of items at once, how many items are you talking about here? My suggestion when this happens is to take the item offsale and put it on sale again.
Sorry for inconvenience caused. Obviously the impact of such a bug would be that your item is not discoverable and result in lost potential earnings.

Pls wait 6 hours after publishing before checking for your items on the recently published sort. Our systems only include items that are published 6 hours ago.
Hi @BrightYellowElephant, just seeing this now.
When I upload batches of UGC (often a bunch of recolors) it can be up to 20 or more items at once (when I say at once, I mean consecutively obviously, as each publish is manual).
I very often experience certain items not appearing, and there are still lots more items not appearing, subsequently affecting my sales. Since I experience it so often, I think it is unlikely that it has to do with a site outage (unless these happen really often and only affect some of the items published, not all of them).
Here are some more affected items:
I have manually republished all these items, so they maybe will appear now, but weâll see.
It is interesting to note that all these items, despite being uploaded ages ago, have no favorites (and likely very little to no sales), so sales data is definitely unfortunately affected, as you mentioned.
Will this bug be looked into further for a fix? I donât think I should have to double and triple check items and switch back and forth through the âShow Unavailable Itemsâ tab to make sure items are actually âpublishedâ after I publish and pay the fee (especially since this is something users are paying for). I have thousands of UGC items and have 100% âmissedâ certain items due to this bug.
UPD 1/22: Just an update here a day later, these âbrokenâ items do seem to appear properly after taking them off-sale then putting them back on sale. Still a pain point though, especially when uploading large quantities of items, as I have to go back and identify broken items and redo the process. Published more items today and experienced this issue once more.

Sorry for delay I am currently out on leave but we are actively looking into this. We have initiated a cross team investigation into this as the problem spans across multiple systems. To help us narrow down the problem, could you maybe identify certain patterns when this would occur, maybe at what time of day this happens or is there a common trait among the items that fail like maybe all of these are limited collectibles with a certain quantity for example?
Hi @BrightYellowElephant, hope you are doing well, appreciate the update.
Unfortunately, there are no distinct patterns to what type of items this affects or when. It has happened to all sorts of item types for me, from Hat to Neck to LC Pants to Hair. There is also not a certain time of day that his occurs. I have not personally experienced this issue with Limited collectibles, only with regular items, but that doesnât negate that it might happen to both types.
The only possible connection might have to do with how many items I am publishing in a short duration of time. When uploading items, I usually upload in batches and often include a good amount of recolors. This could mean I am publishing up to 20 items within a few minutes. When I do this, usually a couple items are affected.
As you mentioned previously on your side, the item appeared onsale to me, but offsale to you in the backend.
To determine what items are affected, I wait for the items to appear in my group/profile store, then see which are missing. Then, as you suggested, I have been taking the affected item(s) offsale and then republishing them again to fix it. After republishing, and a bit of time, the âbroken itemsâ seem to appear.
But I have thousands of UGC, so itâs highly likely that some items are âinvisibleâ and I just donât know about them.

To help us reproduce the error, can you notify us here the next time this happens again but please do not favorite or take your items offsale and onsale again to fix the problem, leave it unfixed so that we can look into the timestamp logging on our systems internally. Hi! Iâm currently experiencing the same issue and I am noticing a slight pattern.
In my experience this problem usually occurs when I upload a wide range of color variations of the same item. Itâs happened to me for a couple of my hairstyles where I uploaded at least 8 color variations.
Sometimes when I go to upload and publish a new unrelated item, everything that wasnât showing up finally shows up in my group store and catalog.
So my past couple releases have gone like this:
Bulk upload â 2-3 variations dont show up â other unrelated bulk upload â the 2-3 variations now show up, but the new item has the same issue where 2-3 arenât showing up
I tried to get them to show up by uploading new earrings but it didnât work this time. Maybe it only works when uploading items in the same category?
My most recent example are these hairstyles I uploaded approximately 13 hours ago:

The only variationos that show up
This time the red and the cyan variations have dissapeared.
I have not favorited or taken my items offsale and onsale again to hopefully help with this investigation. I hope this helps and this issue can be resolved
