Yeah welcome to de-unionizing. That happens with pretty much every union.
Store the parts of your union to the side/above/below it so you can access them later if needed. i.e. here’s the parts needed to make the side cap on the power beam and the back dip in it. I have every stage of those unions saved.
Yeah, I could create dozen of unions that won’t de-union.

I’ve never been sure on this, but do you want us to report / provide every CSG issue we run into so that you can fix them each one by one, gradually making CSG better, or are you going to just try to expand the math capabilities of CSG and allow that to fix the issues?

If you’re crashing a repro file will be immediately useful. Crashes take top priority. For unsolvables, we have a good set that we’re working out a solution for, but I can not guarantee it will solve every unsolvable that has been encountered.
