Unable to configure Collaboration on site and studio

Within the permissions tab of my game and within Collaborate on studio itself, there seems to be a nondescript issue appearing (not for just me, I asked a friend to try it on the same experiences and it replicated) while also producing a console error. It happens both on present-day Studio and the next-gen preview.

Pressing the collaborate button in the top-right produces a console error. After I clicked it once, it does not appear again.

(sorry if this is the wrong category for collaboration-- there isn’t one in particular, but team create is close)

We are investigating the issue now.
Can you please share the game id you were hitting this issue with? Game ID will be a part of the creator hub permissions URL.

It happened across multiple; the one I’m referring to is 7780449854, but I can provide others if need be. I created a new place after the issue arose and it persisted.

Thank you for providing the Game ID.

I noticed that you do not have play, edit or publish on the experience. You should at least have edit permissions to the experience to be able to update the permissions and at least play to view the permissions. Can you enable “Edit all group experiences” for one of the roles you are a member of and retry? Let me know if the issue persists.

We are working on ensuring that the pressing the collaborate button doesn’t crash in studio.

Just to double check - How does the user currently have permissions grated to this universe? Is it through “Create and edit community experiences” in a roleset?

Hi @jayulyn ,
We have pushed a fix for the issue. It must be resolved now. In case you run into this error again, please let us know.

No errors and the UI no longer closes upon being clicked. Works fine! Thanks for the help, and the fixes, appreciate it
