Unable To Delete Models

I’m sick and tired of all the random bugs I seem to encounter lately. This time, I cannot delete a model from the workspace at all even though it’s a model in workspace with real parts grouped inside. I’ve tried everything including restarting and reinstalling Roblox Studio and nothing will delete it from my game. Eventually, if I start hitting undo and right clicking on it a bunch it will randomly give me the prompt to delete it, but the delete button will never work on affected models. This can happen with any model.

Update: This happens with models, parts, and unions. They will randomly just not delete. Also, I’m experiencing an issue where if you delete a part that you’re having trouble deleting, it will delete forever as the undo button will NOT bring it back. Please be careful when trying to delete important assets or unsaved work.

Update 2: Now some things just won’t delete at all, even if I am prompted to delete it.

Try checking if the model is locked in the Properties panel. Also, try disabling all your plugins, then close and reopen Studio to see if that helps.

Another thing to check is if any other apps on your device are using the same keybinds, which might be interfering with Roblox Studio. Let me know if none of that works.

model(s) not locked and i only have a few plugins so i disabled those and keybind doesn’t matter because when i right click to delete something it doesn’t work either

This has been a significant problem on studio for the past few days. It also includes grouping/ungrouping and duplicating.

i am also experiencing this, but using :Destroy() on command bar works

y’all I inserted a part inside the model and I was able to delete it

Roblox is experiencing some issues right now (probably has to do with the 7M+ players on grow a garden)

It just doesn’t detect anything as a Model, BasePart or Object in general. Try ungrouping it, you’ll see that it won’t work either. Roblox is just broken.

Bumping! This is EXTREMELY annoying. I have experienced it enough times to annoy me enough to come here. I sometimes cannot union parts, ungroup models, and delete parts. I can do it manually through the command line, but I don’t wanna do that :smile: !

Im experiencing this aswell. Sometimes closing studio helps but its getting very frustrating.

I’m experiencing the same exact bug too, I temporarily fixed it by clicking on a different object and clicking back to the object, but it doesn’t work all the time, the bug is so annoying

I can’t even use Roblox Studio right now because it’s gotten so bad for me. Please, can an employee acknowledge that this issue has at least been seen or is being investigated?

I’ll go bump this as well since I’m also experiencing this problem as well. I’ll be using a plugin like F3X for the meanwhile until this gets fix.
