Unable to filter by Custom Fields in Onboarding section.

I am trying to get onboarding analytics set up for my game and I have a few custom fields to help split players into data groups, but the funnels page says that no custom fields are available for filtering.

The missing fields are however present in the Custom Events section of the page for an unrelated CustomEvent analytic I track:

Example of how I am logging fields:

Expected behavior

I expect to be able to filter down by custom fields in the funnels page. I also expect custom fields to only appear for the analytic they are used in (ie: IsSoloGame is only used for Onboarding, so it shouldn’t be included in the MapPlayed event filters)

Hi Tom:
I just checked the raw data you sent. Your custom events actually have the value Tutorial Accepted populated. So I guess it is just a mistake from your implementation you could check. You can also check live events to help debugging.
Regarding the funnel events not populating the custom field you are sending. I believe it is a bug. We have done some fixes. Please continue sending some events with custom value and let us know if you still have trouble seeing these value in the drop down. Thanks!

Hi Tom:
I have not seen you populated any new data from funnel event so there is no way to verify if it is working or not.
One thing I also want to mention is that in order to make sure funnel can work properly, any dimension value will follow the first time the player finishes the step.
For example, if player A finishes step 1 with custom field 1 = null, and later finish step 1 again with custom field 1 = Test, this data won’t be used, the data for player A will still be null as we ignore any duplicate step to prevent wrong count.
So it might be a little tricky for you to test as your player might have done onboarding already and cause any new change on custom field won’t be reflected directly in our filter. But you can still check it from our live events or you could switch to a new player to verify the value setup.

Hey sorry, I’ve been moving house for the past few days and haven’t had access to studio. I’ll let you know when I’m able to try this again. Thank you for mentioning that repeated steps don’t count, I don’t think this is documented anywhere on the analytics service page.

Just populated some data with my Tom_atoes account (this account has been used before in this game), let me know if you need me to go through on an alternative account.

This issue is still occuring. We recently launched the game and I still cannot sort by any custom values.

Hi Tom:
sorry for the late reply. Is the issue still ongoing?
I am checking your experience’s funnel data and I see there are filter value.
