Unable to launch playtest for my game // Takes too long to load or crashes

Logs and place file included in staff-only.
Trying to load in “Test” for 8 minutes results in crashing, also endlessly consuming RAM.

My studio overall is soooooooo slow, it takes 5+ minutes to load into this file and it’s also slow with other games.
Also game performance became worse without updates ??? How can they flip this up so badly
Might need to reinstall os if it’s an issue on my side :face_with_bags_under_eyes: I don’t understand how it can be this bad though..

Roblox Studio is on KINGSTON SA400S37120G (SATA3 6Gb/s)

Launching the studio via places page (3 minutes)

Launching the game in studio via play button (6 minutes)

(Reinstalling after completely deleting everything related to roblox does not help)

Here’s the expected load time for my other game (~5 seconds)

Thank you for this report, we’re taking a look on our side.

Have these long load times been present for a while, or did they happen suddenly? Has it gotten worse as you’ve been working on this place?

These were not present until August, last time it was okay was near July 26th and I noticed it only August 9th (was making a different game before, long loading happens only in provided place)

The issue does not happen on July 29th file. Also sent it in staff-only.
This might be happening because of roblox terrain water? (this is the only major thing that has changed between versions), place loads way faster without it, also included version without terrain water.

Also game loading outside of studio is longer than usual too (??) (only ~13 seconds though, usually it’s less than 6 seconds to teleport)
I’ve asked QA members on my team and they confirmed it’s not only me.

If the issue is in terrain water, it probably cannot be fixed within engine (?). I guess the only way would be trimming terrain as much as possible or using plane mesh instead of terrain for water.
