Unable to move camera or character when dragging an object with a DragDetector

Whenever I am dragging an object (e.g. a Model or a Part of any kind) with a DragDetector in it, I am unable to move my camera, nor am I able to walk around / jump. The only input I am able to do (other than click the object / let go of the object) is to scroll my camera in & out.

The steps to reproduce this are:

  1. Insert a part (anchored or unanchored, doesn’t make a difference) in the workspace
  2. Add a DragDetector into the part (the properties do not matter, just leave it as the default properties)
  3. Click on the part to drag it around, then attempt to move your camera and to walk around while still dragging the part.

When following those steps, I cannot move anything except scroll my camera in and out.

Another thing I noticed regarding this is that if you are walking (holding down W) at the time of picking it up, you continue walking, but as soon as you stop holding down W, then attempt to press W again, you no longer move, as if the game is just ignoring your inputs while you are actively dragging the object.

Expected behavior

I expect to be able to walk around, and freely move my camera while dragging a DragDetector.

I am also experiencing this bug, this needs to be fixed ASAP. I just created a part and placed a drag detector inside of it and it locks my movement, camera and mouse.

EDIT: I found what the problem is, disabling the workspace property PlayerScriptsUseInputActionSystem appears to fix the bug.
