Unable to open Roblox Studio

I have been having this problem for almost 1 or 2 months now
This was the plugin I installed and I’m assuming it caused a problem:

Whenever I try to open my studio it says
“An unexpected error occurred an Roblox needs to quit. We’re sorry!” Everytime.
I tried on alt accounts, unstalled and reinstalled it again and even restart my PC. None of it worked, I feel like I wont be able to build ever again and would have to shut down my cafe.

Hi!

This problem has happened to my friend before, and I happen to possibly know the solution to your problem.

That Atmos plugin you installed is a fake, malicious plugin. I know this because the person who created this plugin is not ZacBytes.

How to resolve this issue.
There are several ways to possibly resolve this issue. The easiest way I know is to open up file explorer and look for:

(user) > AppData > Local > Roblox > InstalledPlugins

After you open that folder, delete the plugin folder of the fake Atmos plugin.

Note:
Just because this worked for my friend does’t mean it will 100% resolve your specific issue. Lmk if it doesn’t. Hope this helps!

I did find something called “server.rbxl” and opened it like it should properly, I wanted to test it again on all my other WIP games and it still has the issue.
Rip to all my progress.

Yes This also Happens to me.
I Figured a Weird Way to fix this issue but not sure it will work for you or not
Whenever i Open Studio and try to open a game which has team create on it will crash with the message “An unexpected error occurred an Roblox needs to quit. We’re sorry!”
not only that, it also happens when you open a game from file
A Weird thing i figured out:
First open a normal baseplate, it should not crash while opening a normal baseplate
then close the baseplate, then open any game you want it will open the game without any errors.
I assume this problem is cause because the tools/scripts take time to load and after opening the baseplate the tools/scripts are loaded and you can open your game normally
idk why its like that but i had to do this every time to open my game.

if yes then it might not work for you or there might be a bug with roblox studio

Yep, while I tried opening a new baseplate it crashed on me.

whats your graphics settings in roblox studio?
that might be the problem
Go to Studio Settings > Rendering > Performance and Change the settings to Theseimage

The settings have stayed as automatic and never interacted with studio settings once, but nothing didnt change.

I may be too late but the malicious plugin you have got may have caused permanent damage to the app so maybe uninstall and install Roblox studio? It may solve the issue I’m not sure though.

Try Rebooting your pc Make A backup and then just re-install it.
/ You might have a malicious file that may be creating this.

I clicked the link from Aytilla and it is ZacBytes Dude.

Someone created a group named “ZacBytes” to make it look like the real deal. If you click on the name of the creator, it’s actually a group owned by a random.
