Unable to open studio file.

Visual Aids: I am unable to open my roblox studio from the roblox studio home page. The local file that holds many assets, rigs, and animations. I was given this error.

System Information:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor
RAM: 64GB
GPU: Nvidia Gefore RTX 3060

Beta Features: UI Drag detectors, new Studio Camera Controls, Dragger QoL Improvements, Haptic Effects, Import Queue, Incremental typechecking and autocompletion in studios,

Reproduction Files: Sorry but this is not a bug within a place, but from the file itself.

Sorry if I used the wrong catagory for this sort of bug.

Expected behavior

This afternoon when I tried working, I was stopped by this error, not allowing me to opening my file that holds very important assets.

This game contains many models, rigs, and animations since I am a 3D animator that does work for multiple games.

Last night, the place was fine and I was allowed in, but today it is not letting me in. My other local files work besides this one, this one is the only one that gives me the error.

Thank you for the report, and I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with loading place files. I took a look at the file you sent over and it’s truncated, meaning part of it is missing. How did you get this file, did you create it locally? Were you doing anything in particular the last time you had it open and saved it?

Hello! sorry for this late response. This file was created locally from my studios. I believe I was exporting a 3D Import mesh model last time I was working inside of it. My first thought is I thought this model I mustve imported made the place corrupted. It has been awhile so I’m not entirely sure.

No worries! Thanks for the additional information. I’ve looked into this, and I wasn’t able to find anything that points to a specific bug with Studio itself or the engine. There are a number of reasons why the file might have been damaged, but I can’t really speculate without more information. Since we don’t have any more information to go off of, and we’re not able to reproduce this ourselves. I’m going to close this report. I’m sorry for the unsatisfying conclusion, but thank you for the report.

It’s all good! I’m totally fine since I was able to recover most of the work within it. Thank you for looking into this!
