Unable to play the experience

Good day!

For some reasons, the game my friend is working on is “unavailable” for playing.
Yes, this is excepted behavior, since our game is closed, but the problem is, even with “Tester” role, you can’t join the place. I’ve attached the screenshot of the group permissions. The same behavior doesn’t seems to appear if you are “owner” or “developer” rank in group. I am unsure if that a bug, that why I am asking this here.

Can anyone tell if you can:

  • See the experience description
  • Play the experience (should be obvious that you can’t but just making sure)

Accessing the game’s page, either through the link provided or through your profile’s favorites, results in a 404 page, so we can’t see the description nor play the game (tested on a different account on mobile, and encountered the same behaviour).

I’m not sure if this is just a temporary behaviour from Roblox, but this is what it is for me.


Are you 100% sure that you are granting the tester role correctly? It’s also possible that there is a setting in the legacy roles of the group which may need to be toggled,


I am pretty sure you are talking about that, right? That the problem I did encountered.
I will ask the owner to check the legacy menu.

Hmm, interesting! I think there might be another reason why Testers can’t join the place. Have you checked if the game is set to ‘Private’ mode? Sometimes, even with Tester role, players can’t access private games unless they’re explicitly invited or granted permission by the owner/developer. Worth checking!
