Since today, August 7, 2026, I have been unable to publish emotes. The “Publish Item” button is greyed out, even though the emote has successfully passed validation.
I can equip the emote, and it works correctly in experiences, but I cannot publish it to the Marketplace. I also tested publishing other asset types, such as hair accessories, and those publish without any issues. The problem appears to affect emotes only.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I just checked the Roblox Status page and found an incident from yesterday regarding asset uploads. Roblox temporarily disabled a limited subset of asset uploads, although accessories were reportedly unaffected.
This may be related to the issue preventing emotes from being published.
