Unable to Publish Group Experience with All Ages Eligibility After Ownership Transfer

UPDATE: READ MY REPLY BELOW

The owner of a group I work for is unable to publish the experience with All Ages eligibility. Collaborators who have publishing permissions are also unable to publish it without the experience being placed under Select Eligibility, which negatively affects its reach.

The group owner has:

  • A verified ID and an age-verified 18+ account
  • An active Plus subscription
  • No active warnings or bans

This issue started after the group ownership was transferred.

The private message contains the group ID, as well as the owner’s username and user ID.

Expected behavior

The group owner and authorized collaborators should be able to publish the experience with All Ages eligibility.

After paying the 1,000 Robux fee, the owner was able to publish to all audiences again, even though they already had Premium. I still haven’t tested whether collaborators are also allowed to publish.

Is this behavior actually expected? I don’t remember seeing anything about this in the original eligibility post.

Hi! To be exempt from the publishing fee see “Do I have to pay monthly to keep my game playable by users under 16?” in [Update] May 19, 2026:

  • If you maintain a Plus/Premium subscription for more than 2 months, you don’t have to pay the publishing fee.

Thank you for clarifying that detail! The owner has indeed had an active Plus subscription for less than two months.
