The Support AI is flawed, I have nothing else to add other than flawed. I can’t recover my alternate account which has the ownership of all my important Roblox groups, the Support AI tells me that it is unable to verify ownership, even when I’m providing the actual e-mail that is verified within the account.
I have recently had a problem with my browser which ended up resetting my Authenticator app saved accounts and that’s why I’m trying to have the Support AI to disable the 2FA Authenticator option from my accounts, it worked well for my main account (which is this one I’m typing from) but it won’t work for the other account that is in the same e-mail address.
Are you able to contact support directly, rather than using the AI?
(I don’t have the AI support yet, as I suspect it’s region specific at this time, so I am unsure whether you are able to contact actual support of if you are forced to use the AI)
Nope, when I fill it in it sends me directly to the AI, no option to select an actual human. I already tried tricking the AI to letting me talk to a human, which worked, but the supposed human who replies to me also says they can’t confirm the account is verified on my e-mail, when I’m literally talking from it.
Aditionally, they CAN verify ownership if they search my e-mail (somehow), this is the date I created the account on these emails and it’s related to the said account, it’s an alternate that have ownership to my groups, it’s incredible how they can’t verify the most important thing.
I even requested a password reset to the account, which can only happen from the verified e-mail, but when I do this it also asks me for my now non-existant 2FA code (I also never saved the backup codes for it, thinking my authenticator app would never fail).
Roblox support told me the only way to prove ownership is through email. I am literally messaging them with the original email and only email ever linked to the account
