For some reason, attempting to tween a file mesh’s scale just doesn’t work. I haven’t been able to find any solutions on the dev forum. Here is a piece of example code:
local mesh = Instance.new("SpecialMesh")
mesh.Scale = Vector3.new(1, 2, 3)
game:GetService("TweenService"):Create(mesh, TweenInfo.new(
1,
Enum.EasingStyle.Cubic,
Enum.EasingDirection.InOut), {Scale = Vector3.new(4, 5, 6)}):Play()
Not sure if this is just a really uncommon scenario or if I’m just stupid.

I tested it and it worked fine for me. Maybe you just need to make sure the mesh is parented to something
This is what I did
local part = script.Parent
local mesh = Instance.new("SpecialMesh")
mesh.Parent = part
mesh.Scale = Vector3.new(1, 2, 3)
game:GetService("TweenService"):Create(mesh, TweenInfo.new(
1,
Enum.EasingStyle.Cubic,
Enum.EasingDirection.InOut), {Scale = Vector3.new(4, 5, 6)}):Play()
