I’ve recently been redeveloping a geography showcase game about all the countries in the European Union with nearly 10,000 visits that I have shut down for quite a few months. When I shutdown my game for updates, I had a lack of motivation and ideas. Way back before I shut down my game, it was doing well in terms of the like to dislike ratio and that people enjoy it very much, my retention in my game isn’t very good and my players don’t return. I want to add some minigames included in the showcase that are related to the game to consistently get the players back.
I have thought about maybe adding a flag hunt where players need to find the flags of all 27 countries in the European Union inside my map, and I’ve been thinking about adding maybe something where you can create your own union with countries and also making your own country yourself, but I wanted to ask if there are many more ideas that will get my players playing my game commonly. Any ideas are appreciated!
