Unexplainable game-affecting inconsistencies in home recommendation impressions

Hi all. Recently, I’ve made a game which has delivered quite decent quality statistics but has been experiencing some inconsistencies and confusing outcomes regarding the home recommendations.

The game released roughly a week ago has experienced some issues regarding how the algorithim would push the game to a huge margin ( 2million impressions on day 2 or 3, and 500k on day 8 or 9 (~ a few days after day 7) and it’ll be followed by abyssmal home recommendation stats shortly after which completely do not reflect the game’s performance.

Expected behavior

It makes no logical sense for the home recommendations to only give less than a thousand impressions despite the statistics given, and the fact that all statistics are above 50 percentile which highlights issues regarding the algorithim promotion itself?

This is also an issue that has been affecting other games as well such as this where roblox suddenly stops promoting the game entirely for no particular reason all of a sudden after a sudden burst? The fact that this is happening to other games is even more of a concern.

We have been able to climb thru the rankings for similar experiences and experienced improving stats for payment/monetisation statistics while maintaining consistent levels for others. Logically, it shouldn’t be possible to be receiving poorer home impressions than before the spike.

Other games of similar genre and type, with poorer/relatively similar statistics have been receiving SIGNIFICANTLY higher impressions.

Do you know if these inconsistencies tie in to any Internet outages or network failures at Roblox specifically? The only reason I ask is, the time at least, seem familiar to some recent short term outages across major carrier networks that would certainly affect Roblox if all of sudden they lost a big chunk of the player base because they couldn’t connect, etc.

I’m aware of said outages but even if that was true, it doesn’t really make sense for such low home impressions afterwards if nothing is really affected statistically.
