I understand that policies evolve, and as those things do, people tend to get moderated for things that sound absurd even if they were allowed previously.
HOWEVER. WHAT I DO find offending is when I post my opinion in my bio, which is nothing inappropriate btw. I get moderated for “world politics” yet there are pages upon pages of merchandise, games, and more that are arguably the same thing but possibly a different position or more so inappropriate than my simple statement.
My “big” offending thing was “Free Palestine” and I also put “People are making accounts with inappropriate variations of my name please report them”
Again; I can understand that as things change and policies transform that things happen, but I’ve had this in my bio for 2-3 years with no issue. And literal “Israel simulators” exist with the perception of harassing Palestinians. So either be neutral and don’t allow any of it or allow healthy opinions.
This is in no shape or form anything against Israeli people, Jewish people, or any other persons. This is simply about free speech vs allowing one but not the other in enforcement of “policy”.
Expected behavior
I expect to either have a moderation team to be neutral or understanding that my views are impactful or negative to any certain person, or group. And that as someone who is 21+ politics specifically for thething I was moderated for is a significant part of my life.
