When I attempt to update the description of a game I belong to, I continuously receive the following error message:
(English - Translated) “Universe name or description was rejected. Failed to save description. Please try again.”
(한국어) “유니버스 이름 또는 설명이 거부되었습니다. 설명(을)를 저장할 수 없습니다. 다시 시도하세요.”
This occurs even when using simple and inoffensive words such as “테스트”, “hello”, or “안녕”.
Previously, the description could be edited and saved without any issues. This problem started recently and persists regardless of the content entered.
We also attempted the update using the group owner’s account, but the same error occurred.
The same words can be used to update descriptions in other games without issue, indicating that the problem is specific to this game.
The issue has been confirmed by another developer located in a different region, using a different account and device.
Additionally, inspecting the browser’s DevTools shows that clicking the “Save changes” button triggers a 400 Bad Request response from the server.
Expected behavior
I expect the game description to be saved successfully when using valid and simple words. No error message should appear if the input is clean and compliant with content guidelines.
