Upcoming Changes to Avatar Catalog Upload Requirements

I really doubt they’re adding new features for Premium members. What do you know?

Indeed, however it’s harder to pay 100 robux every time you want to make a shirt or pant.

Please stop acting as this is a confirmed price, I’ve already said it’s just been seen like that in an accidental release.

Stop putting everything in caps. Ur literally spamming the forum. Ya maybe they do treat designers badly, but u dont have to argue about that here. You have to debate here not just burst out ur anger.

For me it’s a bad update, I also got a question about this, if we’re paying to upload something, example, if this fee is 50 robux (just an example), we’ll have to price it to 5 robux like everyone is doing? This would be such a loss for us small clothing designers. It’s really sad to see that you guys are going to make a fee for that, we’ll have to pay more that we get per day, some designers don’t even get alot of sales like some another clothing groups, and about the front page clothing (which HALF is stolen) they’re get alot of robux due the bots that they pay to get sales and more robux.

As a clothing designer I gave my honest opinion about this update, if you guys are going to keep the fee for 100 robux ALOT of designers are going to have trouble to upload and some might quit ROBLOX due that, I’ve been also reading some comments about this saying “now designers are going to learn how to build to claim their money”.

No its not from my side its not.

All I’m going to say is that when I FIRST started designing, it was extremely difficult and hard to get sales, even just to gain a single member w/o needing ads. The lack of pricing for uploading clothing is what motivated me to work harder to get to where I am now, and though I may be able to manage these costs at 100 RBX per upload, many other smaller designers/groups that I know of will definitely be unable to handle these changes. I mean think of it, just uploading designs costs robux. What happens if there’s a flaw or something we want changed? Will we have to reupload and thus spend another 100 robux? It seems awfully flawed and poorly executed if ROBLOX wants to help with the botting/spamming problem.

They can earn money from doing commissions and such, that was @pirospacepride1’s point. He doesn’t have the real money to spend, but the robux from doing buisness.

You have no clue about this update, I’ll stick to liking this update thanks.

YOU have no clue about the update. You don’t understand small designers won’t be able to make clothes anymore and gain no profit from it.

This is great! It’s a win win. People without premium will be able to make there own clothing and it will reduce spam by a lot. Nice

The price isn’t confirmed yet, but what if they confirm the fee for 100 robux? How is it going to help us clothing designers that work hard, not saying that developers don’t work hard on their clothing because I’ve saw alot of developers working really hard on their games, they even take years to develop, but this doesn’t means that us designers also don’t work on our clothing, this update won’t help us designers EVEN if the fee is 30 robux or 10 robux.

You do realize this is a kids game right? Made for younger audiences?

It’s easier just to buy premium monthly instead of having to get 100 or so robux to upload 1 shirt or 1 pant. The cheapest amount of premium is 5 USD and to upload 2 shirts and a pant would cost you around the same amount.

Roblox never said it would be a fee of 100 robux. You keep speculating.

The devforums is 13+, a bit young for a job, yeah, but, there’s quite a few older than that who can get a job on this.

  1. People have opinions
  2. You keep going off-topic and spamming about how people don’t agree with you

This forum is meant for civil discussion and debates. Not mindless rants.

I agree with this update to an extent. I think it’ll allow more people to upload clothing and expand the catalog, however, if the fee is 100 Robux, that’ll just cause more problems.

Either way what the price is, it’s still hard for small designers to even upload clothes.

@Crystallized_Dev

Alright, we get it and we know.

The site updates Roblox did as a whole were terrible and developers are struggling because of what they’re doing.

  • Reading people’s code without permission.

  • Spending money on unneeded sponsor events.

  • Making the group payout system worse.

  • And now this clothing upload update.

We know how terrible Roblox is at decision making sometimes but there’s nothing we can do about it but express our opinions about what they do.

And sometimes they’ll listen and sometimes they won’t.

But there’s a better chance of them taking feedback seriously if you expressed your opinion in a more mature way.

Just don’t spam anymore, you shouldn’t have to get banned over this.

Yesterday they accidentally released the update, and the fee was :robux: 100. That’s why they think this.
