Update "How to post a Feature Request" to Include Formatting & Access Info

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to know how to both gain access to and format a feature request. This is more for new users and people directing them than my own difficulty.

Communicating to New (or uninformed) Users

The ways to direct new forum users for me has been to say something along the lines of

To be able to make feature requests, you need to be accepted into this group, so join that and wait: https://devforum.roblox.com/g?filter=AllowFeatureRequests.

In addition to:

After accepted, when making a feature request, check to see if the topic you’d make a post about already exists as to not make duplicates. If the topic doesn’t already exist, make sure to follow formatting practices for feature requests. Found here: How to post a Feature Request

This thread is a recent case study: It is currently too hard to post a feature request. But, this issue can be traced back years with outdated info with a same premise of confusion and directing new users.

What’s Covered? Formatting vs Gaining Access

The first quote block on access is covered entirely by this post: https://devforum.roblox.com/t/cant-post-bug-reports-or-feature-requests/2009361.

But the issue of gaining access to the category is NOT covered by this one: How to post a Feature Request.

The Problem

This leads to the problem of people reading one or the other, when both could link to each other, or house the same info.

I’d also like to propose a name change for the “How to post a Feature Request” post to “How to Format a Feature Request” as I think it’d communicate the info on there better.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because I could direct users to a single link on the topic. Whether it has its’ own linking back-and-forth or all the info is in one post itself, works for me.
