We’re updating our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy on November 1 to support new features in safety, community engagement, and platform growth. Here is a summary of those changes - please take some time to review the changes.
The following will go into effect on November 1, 2026:
Simplifying the language and reorganizing sections of the Terms of Use, including the User Termsand Creator Terms.
Clarifying our role on how user generated content (UGC) is provided to you on the platform. In general, Roblox acts as the principal distributor and merchant of record for purchases made through Roblox. This means that when you access or purchase any content on our platform, you are obtaining the content from Roblox. Users and Creators do not enter into a direct transaction with each other for those purchases.
We are also clarifying related sections on License to Roblox, Robux, Roblox Economy, Creator Payments, and Taxes and Withholding.
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we added the right of withdrawal for consumers.
Please review the updated Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. As a reminder, if you are a minor, your parent/guardian will need to agree to the updated Terms of Use for you to continue using Roblox.
We value your input and partnership as we strive to maintain a safe and secure platform.

I’ll update this reply after I make a detailed bug report, but I also felt that mentioning this bug in this thread may help others who are encountering the same issue.

The team is aware of an issue preventing access to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy pages. They are currently investigating and working on a fix. Thanks for your patience. We will update you once it’s resolved.
Since this pertains to Roblox ToS and clarifying on existing policies, can we have some clarification on the media sharing policy? The current wording seems intentionally vague, and is currently being applied inconsistently to experiences
