I think it is more so interesting that bones with 0 influence on any animations are causing the animator to have to rebuild, (as the lag does not occur without any animator). In the example with just a Basepart it still causes severe lag, even though there is no animation that interacts with these bones (as they have 0 influence), It is a bit unfortunate to say that basically any custom animation player such as Crunchyroll is significantly faster than the built in Roblox solution.
