[Updating Marketplace Policy for Heads] Missing Update Links for Existing Dynamic Heads. September 1 deadline

Hi,

This issue is related to the Updating Marketplace Policy for Heads campaign.

here is a link to that devforum article. HERE

I’ve been going through my existing bundles to make sure their Dynamic Heads are updated for the new validation requirements, and I noticed that some of my bundles were never included in the update submission process.

In particular, I found this happening with several bundles that I published on January 26, 2026. The heads used in these bundles do not pass the current validation requirements, so I need to replace them with updated versions. However, I never received a submission or update link for these assets where I can provide the new Development Item Asset ID.

For example:

Tall Slim Blocky

Bundle ID: 17282011459977

link to the bundle in the marketplace. HERE

This bundle is still active, but I cannot find its head in any of the update forms that were provided to me.

I specifically noticed this with bundles I uploaded on January 26, but there may be other affected bundles that I have not identified yet, so I’m concerned that some existing heads may have been missed when the update campaign lists were generated.

On August 27 it was announced that September 1st was the last day we can manually submit changes, so I only have a couple days to get this issue sorted out.

I already have the ability to create corrected versions of these heads that meet the new requirements. The problem is that without an update link for the original assets, I don’t have a way to submit the replacement Development Item Asset IDs.

I also found another creator who appears to be experiencing a similar issue with Dynamic Head assets being missing from the update process, so I’m including that as additional context in case the issues are related. link to their bug report. HERE

Could someone please check whether these assets were omitted from the Marketplace head update campaign and provide the appropriate submission links, or another way for me to submit the updated asset IDs?

Thank you.

Hi! I saw that you linked my devforum post.
I replied to the official Catalog Asset Update email about the missing assets, and this is what they told me:

"Assets not included in the campaign will remain in the catalog even if they no longer pass validation. I manually checked all assets you shared and none of them are included in the campaign, meaning, they will stay in the catalog.

You will have an opportunity to update these assets sometime by the end of the year when Roblox releases a new asset update system where creators can voluntarily submit fixes to their assets. We will share more info on this via DevForum posts in the near future.

So, don’t worry you won’t lose these assets."

So if your heads/bundles are not listed in the PDF report, they should not go off-sale on Sept 1!

Thank you so much for letting me know! That’s definitely reassuring. Since mine also weren’t included in the campaign, it sounds like I may be in a similar situation. The only difference is that mine are Dynamic Heads used as part of UGC body bundles, while yours were standalone Dynamic Heads, so I’m not sure if Roblox treats those cases exactly the same. I’m going to leave the report open for now in case staff can confirm that the same applies to my affected assets, especially since they currently fail the new validation requirements.

No problem!

I think you should try replying to the same official Catalog Asset Update email (the one that had the PDF report attached) and ask them specifically about your missing bundles. You might get a faster response that way.

I can confirm that heads that are part of body bundles are the same situation as standalone heads: if they were not listed in an email you got telling you that they need to be updated, then they are not part of the campaign and will not go offsale or be removed at this time.

Thank you for confirming! I also just heard back from the Catalog Asset Update team via email, so everything is clear now. And thank you to scyllasa for suggesting I reach out to them directly, that was really helpful. I’ll mark this as resolved
