As a Roblox developer, it is currently too difficult to send payouts to a large number of members.
As the owner of Spray Paint, I have a team of moderators that I pay at the beginning of each month based on their monthly performance. There have been up to 50 moderators in the past, and manually copying and pasting their usernames and robux amounts from an excel sheet with the current system takes a long time and creates unnecessary room for error.
This issue is more annoying as it sounds, as Roblox enforces an unnecessarily low limit of users you can pay at a time and clears all user entries if you realize you need to go back to remove or add a user and requires 2FA for each batch of payouts.
There should be a simple quality of life CSV file drop box on the group payout tab that auto-populates the menu to send payouts to creators, and the limit of creators you can pay at a time should be increased to 100.
Hey, thanks for sharing your pain points! We’ve got some improvements to this payout modal in progress already, including the ability to upload a .csv file of payouts.
Stay tuned, I’ll share an update here as soon as it’s ready!
Uploading a .csv file of payouts is now available! Additionally, your payment amounts will no longer be cleared when going back to the search stage.
The maximum number of payouts per batch is still 20, but we’re looking into the possibility of raising this limit. We will continue to iterate on the experience of paying your collaborators.
