Uptown Incorporated™ Group Rules
To make sure that our group remains civil, we have decided to list a full and complete guide of our group’s rules. Acknowledge that these rules can be changed at any time, without any notice, and that you must be sure to stay up-to-date with these rules.
Power Abuse
Abusing Admin Power
Abusing the power that your Free Admin rank gives you is strictly prohibited. Examples of abusing these powers include (but are not limited to) the following offenses:
- Repeatedly using abusive commands on others
- Ranking accounts at random without permission (Free Ranking)
- Banning or unbanning accounts at random
- Kicking or forceplacing accounts at random
- Using your powers in any other way to break in-game rules
Abusing Rank Power
Abusing the power that your group rank gives you is strictly prohibited. Examples of abusing these powers include (but are not limited to) the following offenses:
- Ranking accounts at random without permission (Free Ranking)
- Suspending or unsuspending accounts at random
- Posting shouts at random without permission (Free Shouting)
- Removing/configuring aspects of the group (i.e
- Using your powers in any other way to break group rules
Bullying, Harassment, and Obnoxious Behavior
Bullying/Harassment
Bullying and Harassment is not permitted here at Uptown Incorporated™. Those who partake in these behaviors both in-game and out of game will be punished accordingly.
Obnoxious Behavior
Like Bullying and Harassment, those who partake in this both in-game and out of game will be punished accordingly. Obnoxious Behavior includes (but is not limited to) the following offenses:
- Being Toxic
- Discrimination based off of race, appearance, or birth gender
- Online Dating
- Mocking/Taunting
- Scamming
Alternative Accounts and Account Aspects
Alternative Accounts
Alternative accounts are not permitted at Uptown Incorporated™. No exceptions.
Account Age Limit
Accounts that were created less than 7 days ago will not be allowed to enter our group.
“Empty” Accounts
Some accounts may not be accepted due to lack of aspects (i.e. Groups Joined, Friends, Followers).
Accounts under 13
While accounts under 13 are permitted to join and work at Uptown, they are prohibited from joining our communications server.
Slander and Defamation
Slander and Defamation of Uptown Incorporated™ and/or its related entities is strictly prohibited and will result in severe punishment.
Loopholes
This is simple: Just because we don’t explicitly list something as a rule doesn’t mean you can abuse it.
Refund Policy
No refunds, no exceptions.
Appeals and Concerns
You can use our social links on our group about page to join our communications server so you can appeal a group action or list a concern of yours.
By joining our group, you hereby agree to all of our rules, no exceptions. You understand that, if determined by us to be in violation of these rules, that you will receive an appropriate and swift punishment that may or may not be appealable.
