Since about two days, I’ve been getting below 10-15 FPS while working in Studio, whereas before I used to be able to get a solid 80+ FPS. I cannot develop like this.
After tinkering around with my system’s settings, I decided to check my Rendering tab in Studio, and lo and behold, Vulkan was no longer in the drop-down menu.
I’ve checked the most recent release notes, but wasn’t able to find any mention of why it would have been removed, or that it may have been temporarily removed (in which case it would be quite disgruntling).
This started after updating Studio, therefore I do not suspect my system to be at fault. I have not enabled any new Beta features that were released in the past two months.
Thanks.
Expected behavior
As one may be able to infer from the above, I expect the Vulkan graphics option to appear in the drop-down menu.

i confirm.
roblox and studio on d3d11 and opengl lags a lot (20-40fps). vulkan is the only option that works the best (50-100fps). no issues with vulkan for me, no point of removing it

I’m half certain this may have been an accident, or temporary take-down, but I want official confirmation from staff.
Like I said, I cannot develop like this. Cheers for the confirmation, mate
Update:
Vulkan is back, but it now causes extreme visual glitches, and crashes when attempting to open a place. If it does load correctly, however, my performance is great.
This issue is still affecting me, and my development. I’ve done a clean reinstall of Studio, and have even reset my computer.
Studio either crashes upon opening the place, or loads it, but with severe visual glitches affecting studio UI that render it unusable.
I’m appalled that this hasn’t been looked at yet.
Well, it’s still happening, and I still cannot develop.
I will have to keep bumping this until this is looked at. Very frustrating.
It’s still happening.
Another day, another bump.

Yup, I have been getting this same issue where when I launch the studio and edit a place with Vulkan, it crashes instantly. No clue why, I am using my laptop which has practically the same specifications as my PC, and my PC is able to run the studio easily with 60 FPS or more.
Due to that, I am stuck with using OpenGL, which runs at like 30 FPS.
Hope this gets some attention as I wish to develop my game away from home comfortably with good FPS.
EDITED/UPDATED:
Oh uh, I didn’t know when I plug in the charging cable studio started to run smoothly with OpenGL.
Well that’s something.
