Description:
On the Roblox Marketplace page, when using the sorting options such as Creator or Price range, the text that the user types into these input fields appears in black while using the dark theme. Because the background of these fields is also dark, the text is almost invisible. This issue only affects the text entered by the user. All other elements and labels on the page appear normally.
This behavior started a few days ago. Previously, the typed text in these fields was white, which provided good contrast and was easy to read.
Expected Behavior:
When the dark theme is enabled, any text entered by the user into sorting fields (for example Creator or Price range) should appear white, consistent with other dark theme input fields on the site.
Actual Behavior:
- User-entered text inside Creator and Price range fields appears black.
- Since the background is dark, the text is very hard to see.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to Catalog
- Ensure that the Dark theme is enabled on your Roblox account. You can enable it in your settings here: Log in to Roblox
- Find the sorting bar near the top of the page (Creator, Price range, etc.).
- Click into one of the input fields and type a creator name or a price value.
- Observe that the text you type is black and nearly invisible against the dark background.
