Many random combinations of letters which seem to have no meaning were recently censored from being used in usernames. Some don’t make sense and it decreases by a lot the usernames people can use.
For example, almost all 3 character combinations of “s_” and then another character, got censored (e.g. s_4, s_g)
And random combos like “tbq” and “r_2” are also flagged for “personal identifiable information (PII)”.
In fact, someone made a HUGE list of the random combos that got censored.
I believe this was the work of AI moderation.
Expected behavior
Normal usernames being allowed, only inappropriate and harmful phrases being censored, not random meaningless combinations.
Its very hard now to just come up with a random phrase as a username or a username in general, unrelated but yeah, tons of stuff is filtered for no significant reason unsure why but i agree with this post.
roblox ai does this, yet still fails to acknowledge the fact that rapegod is not filtered in some games, this rust bucket moderation is overworking like crazy yet slacks off in game chat.
